All those who bought flats from Bhuvanateja Infra, have similar and even worse stories to narrate. Buyers recall that Happy Homes project would bring them happiness, but never imagined it to turn into their worst nightmare. In 2020, Bhuvanateja Infra started a project called Happy Homes at Kadthal, and sold many flats. However, the project was canceled after a couple of years. However, no one is aware of reasons for its cancellation. Even after all these years, the money has not been returned to those who booked flats in this project. As a result, the buyers are in a distress.

After starting another project at Kollur and collecting the money, the company canceled the project again. How many people got their money refunded, remains a mystery. Though many people who bought flats in the Shamirpet project canceled their bookings, the money has not been refunded so far. Cheques given to some of them got bounced even as several others are forced to run around the Bhuvanateja Infra head office at Panjagutta every day. And yet, Bhuvanateja Infra MD Chakka Venkata Subramaniam has been sending them home by cooking up cock and bull stories as well as making false promises. Fed up with Venkata Subramaniam, some buyers are gearing up to file a police case against him.

There are many companies like Bhuvanateja Infra in Hyderabad whose owners are enjoying a luxury life using money collected from innocent people in the name of pre-launche sales. But the State government has remained a mute spectator for reasons known. Unless the government takes strict measures and keep tabs on fraudulent people like Subramaniam, more such scamsters are likely to enter the real estate market and con more people. It is high time that the State government wakes up from slumber and cracks down on companies like Bhuvanateja Infra.
