In the country’s realty sector, CREDAI, which started 25 years ago, has expanded to 21 states. It serves as a guide for over 13,000 builders across 230 cities, approximately. By offering solutions to the challenges faced by the construction industry, actively participating in policy formulation related to the real estate sector, introducing new approaches to fellow developers, and consistently introducing modern knowledge, CREDAI has played a crucial role in the growth of the Indian construction industry, which provides employment opportunities to a significant percentage of people after agriculture. This year, it is all set to celebrate its Silver Jubilee with great enthusiasm in Sydney, Australia.

CREDAI is hosting its annual grand celebration this year in Australia where it will share about CREDAI National’s achievements, future planning, opinions on the new changes in the sector, modern construction practices, and modern technologies, and more. The 22nd edition of NATCON will take place at the International Convention Centre in Sydney. Since it’s also the Silver Jubilee year, CREDAI Karnataka states that this edition of NATCON is very, very special. So, how attractive will this event be with the participation of construction giants from India? Here is a special story from Real Estate Guru for its readers.

CREDAI (Confederation of Real Estate Developers’ Associations of India) acts as the apex body for private real estate developers in India. Established in 1999 with the motto “Building the Nation,” CREDAI has been providing its services to the Indian construction sector for 25 years. By embracing technology and examining the changes occurring internationally in the construction sector, CREDAI aims to provide the necessary advice and recommendations to further enhance the growth of the Indian real estate sector.

25 glorious years..

Since it is also the Silver Jubilee year, NATCON 2024 is very special for CREDAI. This event will be held from the 23rd to the 26th of this month at the International Convention Centre in Sydney. It is expected that over 1,200 delegates from various fields—including developers, architects, government officials, leaders from the finance and banking sectors, investors, and technology experts—will attend the 22nd edition of NATCON. The event will feature key speeches from industry giants in the real estate sector, panel discussions, innovative workshops, and exhibitions, among many other activities.

In the 22nd edition of NATCON, discussions will cover topics such as the road map for the Indian realty sector, the market size moving towards a one trillion dollar industry, rapidly developing cities as part of a developed India and the challenges they face, the role of the real estate sector in the Indian economy and employment generation, startup stories in the real estate sector, technological changes and revolutions in construction with AI and VR, and the strategies Australia is adopting in the real estate sector.

Real estate and infrastructure are interdependent; the development of one relies on the other. Therefore, CREDAI not only focuses on the real estate sector but also provides the necessary support and information for infrastructure projects undertaken by central and state governments. CREDAI prepares reports for governments on the methods that can accelerate growth in the infrastructure sector and modern practices to be followed in construction.

Over 13,000 developers..

Over 13,300 developers from more than 230 cities across 21 states in India are members of CREDAI National. The CREDAI National Secretariat is located in Delhi. CREDAI aims to make the real estate sector gender-neutral and has established both a Youth Wing and a Women’s Wing. It strives to provide its members with the latest practices and modern technologies in the global construction industry. Currently, Boman Irani serves as the President of CREDAI, while Manoj Gaur is the Chairman. Shekhar Patel is the President Elect, and Gummi Ram Reddy, the head of Ark Group from Telangana, is acting as the Secretary of CREDAI National.

There are numerous opportunities in the construction sector. CREDAI is committed to guiding the young generation aspiring to enter this sector in the right direction, alongside established companies that have already become giants. Furthermore, it takes on the responsibility of dispelling misconceptions among customers and resolving any issues that arise, thereby fostering trust and confidence in the real estate sector. CREDAI is not limited to activities related solely to the real estate sector; it also plays its part in social responsibility by contributing to CSR activities and providing donations during natural disasters. Now, as CREDAI completes 25 years and looks forward with renewed enthusiasm, let’s hope for the grand success of NATCON in Sydney and that this event brings significant benefits to the Indian construction industry.
