  • Sales of houses increase by 21 percent.

Realty research firm Knight Frank India says that there is no truth in their propaganda that real estate has fallen in the cosmopolitan city of Hyderabad and that it will take a long time to recover. It is said that the construction sector in Hyderabad is not going down and infact grown further compared to last year. The Knight Frank India report has clarified that 18,573 houses and apartments were sold in the first six months of January-June 2024.

According to Knight Frank India, the number of houses sold this year is 21 per cent higher than the number of houses sold during the same period last year, i.e. between January and June 2023. This one report is enough to say that there is no decline in the Hyderabad realty market and it is still growing. Moreover, demand for office space in Hyderabad has increased by 71 percent this year compared to last year. According to the report by Knight Frank India, the total sales of office space reached 50 lakh square feet between January and June this year.

Knight Frank states that the real estate market is growing well not only in Hyderabad but also across the country. The figures show that house sales in 8 major cities of the country, including Hyderabad, increased by 11 percent to 1.73 lakh from January to June this year. Knight Frank says this is an 11-year high in the Indian realty market. In addition to this, the demand for office space increased by 33 percent to 3.47 crore square feet, the report said. It is known that the sales of premium houses in major cities of the country, including Hyderabad, increased by 34 percent in the first half of 2024.
