High-net-worth individuals (HNIs) in particular are turning to these. The RBI said that Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs) and Infrastructure Investment Trusts (InvITs) have emerged as destinations for investments in the real estate sector, and more people are showing interest in these as they are safe for investment. A total of Rs 2,500 crore worth of invitations were received through the public issue in March. Most people are trading in it after SEBI reduced the minimum investment amount. As a result, REITs are getting bigger. “SEBI’s decision to reduce lot size and other factors have made REITs an attractive investment option,” said the Indian REIT Association.
