Square Yards Report on Hyderabad
The Hyderabad real estate market has seen some relief after a few months of challenges. According to a Square Yards report, housing transactions in Hyderabad rose by 7%, and sales value grew by 20% during the July-September period. Last year, there were 18,314 transactions, while this year it increased to 19,527, with the total sales value reaching Rs 11,718 crore.
The average value of homes sold in Hyderabad reached Rs 60 lakh, marking a 13% annual growth. Properties priced at Rs 1 crore and above now account for 13% of transactions, up from 9% last year. Homes priced between Rs 1 crore and Rs 2 crore increased to 11% of total sales, compared to 7% last year.
Larger homes are in demand, with 44% of sales for homes between 1,000-1,500 sq. ft. and 37% for those between 1,500-3,000 sq. ft. Key areas like Gachibowli, Madhapur, Kokapet, Narsinghi, and those near the Outer Ring Road are seeing significant residential activity due to excellent connectivity to the airport and IT hubs.
The report suggests continued growth for Hyderabad’s residential market in the months ahead.
