World Trade Centre in Future City 4.0

Next to AI City is the World Trade Centre.

The World Trade Centres Association has obtained rights to establish trade centres in other countries from the World Trade Centre in America. In this context, efforts are underway to set up more World Trade Centres in metro cities across the country. As part of this, the first trade centre in Telangana is being inaugurated in Hyderabad, and efforts are underway to set up another centre in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. The World Trade Centres are already operating in Delhi, Noida, Bengaluru, and Mumbai.

Construction of World Trade Centres is also underway in Chennai, Ahmedabad, Amritsar, Amaravati, Bhopal, Goa, Jaipur, Kochi, Lucknow, Bhubaneswar, Pune, and Varanasi. The Telangana government has focused specifically on the construction of Future City. The government is taking steps to establish a prestigious centre along with education, entertainment, tourism, and health centres in the future city. The Revanth government is preparing to set up both AI City and a World Trade Centre in Future City-4.0.

The establishment of the World Trade Centre will further boost Hyderabad’s presence in the global trade arena. The Telangana government is making steady progress in the construction of Future City. The Revanth government, which has already decided to build a Skill University in Future City, has started the related work. With the commencement of construction for the Skill University, several prestigious organisations are gradually entering Future City. The Telangana government has decided to set up education, health, tourism, entertainment, and trade centres in Future City.

Plans for these developments are being prepared and are being implemented in a systematic manner. Now, steps are being taken to establish a World Trade Centre in Future City. Representatives from the World Trade Centres Association have come forward to set up a trade centre in Hyderabad’s Future City, modelled after the World Trade Centre in America.

Following a recent agreement with the state government, officials from the Revenue and Industries Departments, who have taken security aspects into consideration, are in the process of selecting a suitable location for the World Trade Centre. To this end, they have reviewed three potential areas near AI City and will submit a report to the government. Representatives from the World Trade Centres Association have informed the government about the requirements for the centre to be established in Future City. It is understood that they have requested that the World Trade Centre be connected to major roads and internal roads for easy access to the airport and metro rail stations.

The Telangana government is considering allocating 50 acres of land for the World Trade Centre, while the representatives have requested an additional 20 acres for future needs and parking. They have also highlighted the need for large towers for a solar power plant and communication systems. Officials are expected to take all these factors into account and proceed with site selection accordingly.
