Will Telangana realty collapse if Cong comes to power?

Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao and IT Minister KT Rama Rao have claimed that the booming real estate in Telangana as their biggest achievement and states that the undisputed credibility of the Government of Telangana has increased manifold quoting the example of an acre fetching Rs 100 crore.

Claiming success for the realty development in Telangana, KTR, during his election campaign, predicted the collapse of the real estate sector in the event of Congress coming to power and hence appealing to people to give their vote to contestants after giving considerable thought.

Taking part in a TV debate programme, KTR explained the logic behind his observation stating, “The realty sector is going to collapse if CMs are changed every six months. (Referring indirectly to the Congress) They will not implement the policies properly. The Congress leaders here will not be able to finalize candidates without meeting their bosses in Delhi. Similarly, in the event of them coming to power their policies matters have to be ratified in Delhi. Because of it, inordinate delay takes place leading to investors fleeing to other states.”

The demand for office space in Bengaluru has come down by at least 28%. However, it increased in Telangana. There is a contention that the Congress is not responding properly refuting these allegations. It is attributed to the party having more CM post aspirants. That is why no Congress leader worth the salt would be able to firmly say that the Congress would be able to provide a stable government without entertaining the change of CMs. The Congress has the record of changing the CMs. However, the problem was mitigated to an extent. But the Congress has failed to take this aspect to the masses. The political analysts feel that the state Congress leaders should say unequivocally that the high command will take the final call in deciding the CM candidate.
