Cities known for spiritual tourism growth include Tirupati, Varanasi, Shirdi, Puri, Ayodhya, Amritsar, and Dwarka. It has been reported that there are opportunities for rapid growth in 30 cities shortly with major real estate developments, with 17 cities showing significant potential. The report indicates that cities like Visakhapatnam and Tirupati, along with Kochi, Coimbatore, Amritsar, Ayodhya, Jaipur, Kanpur, Lucknow, Varanasi, Patna, Puri, Dwarka, Nagpur, Shirdi, Surat, and Indore, will see real estate booms soon.
Small cities are also playing a crucial role in enhancing the GDP of the country by developing basic infrastructure and spiritual tourism with government support. Colliers India CEO Badal Yagnik has announced that real estate prices in India will grow to $100 trillion by 2030 and $500 trillion by 2050.
