Vanguards of false propaganda in every community!

  • Always spread false propaganda
  • Blame builders any shortfalls
  • Everyone should understand such people mindset
  • Do not encourage them under any circumstances
  • Issues can be resolved amicably with builders

A man named Krishnan from Tamil Nadu recently bought a flat in a gated community in Gachibowli. As soon as he entered, he took up arguments with the builders for every shortfall. Whenever there was a small mistake, he started making a big fuss and tried to convince his peers rally behind him. As he could speak fluently in English and was aggressive, some people thought he was speaking facts, while those who could understand that he was spreading false propaganda, remained silent as they did not want to get into unnecessary issues with a fellow flat owner.

Finally, he succeeded in uniting a large part of the residents against the builder and started a new residents welfare association. Eventually, he took charge of the apartment management from the builder by force before the appointed date. He took decisions as per his whims and wishes and soon things started getting worse. Gradually, the flat owners understood the reality and some of them started realising that the situation would have been better when the builder handled the apartment management.

The moral of this incident is that people living in gated communities and villa projects should not blindly believe what one or two people say. If someone speaks negatively all the time, you should take decision only after weighing the pros and cons. One should be able to assess the truth from all the allegations made by them. They could be passing false remarks especially against the builders for personal gain. If you believe them, that could be the end. Instead of blindly believing in them and acting upon their words hastily, a coordination committee with three or four people should be formed and attempts should be made to resolve the problems in the community.

One must realise that if they lodge complaints with the local bodies or act against the builder without trying to address the issues in an amicable manner, the respective communities will suffer ultimately. While one must not tolerate the builders who ignore the problems of the flat owners, they also should understand that not all builders are the same and the good developers should not be troubled unnecessarily.

There are good builders as well

Most of the builders ensure that buyers do not face any problems. If there is a problem, they will take the lead in resolving it. There could be a couple of fools who try to blame and find fault with such developers as well. Such sick-minded people will not be ready to acknowledge the good work done by these builders, but would not hesitate to create a mountain out of mole even for a small issue which the developer is willing to address. Due to such fools, there is always the danger of the builders getting the urge to stop their project midway. One must understand that removing the builder out of the project, is always unwise. Instead of having a confrontation, a coordination committee should be formed to solve the problems after collecting the opinions of majority of all the buyers.
