The exchequer is getting good income through the TS Bpass brought by the Telangana government to enable quick and easy issuance of building permits. In 2022-23, 13,748 building permits and 2,581 occupancy certificates were issued under the GHMC. As a result, GHMC got an income of Rs.1,454.76 crore. There was an increase in this income compared to the previous year. Then it was 1,144.08 crores, this time it was 1,454.76 crores. TS BPass was introduced in 2020 with the aim of speedy issuance of building permits. Minister KTR inaugurated it.
Meanwhile, the Town Planning Department of GHMC revealed that the city of Hyderabad is not only expanding northward but also developing vertically with the construction of many high-rise buildings. Out of the 13,748 permissions sanctioned through TS BPass in the financial year 2022-23, 97 are high-rise buildings. This includes four residential projects with more than 40 floors and 53 residential projects with a height of more than 30 meters (between 10 floors and 40 floors).
