Telugu States buzzing with property shows

  • Property shows being organised during the festival season
  • Proposed to be held in Warangal, North Hyderabad, Rajahmundry
  • A show has been already launched in Mumbai

It’s Diwali festive time and many people are eager to buy a new home for themselves. Understanding this, the builders associations are organising property shows to attract buyers. Just two weeks ago, NAREDCO Telangana property show was held in Hyderabad. During teh same week, CREDAI organised a property show in Vijayawada. Recently, associations like CREDAI Hyderabad, CREDAI Warangal and CREDAI Rajamahendravaram also announced real estate expos in the respective cities. Let’s hope that these property shows will get an unprecedented response from the buyers in the current situation where the realty market is witnessing a slump.

It is natural for buyers to plan moving into a new home during the festive season. Hence, many people book new flats during Diwali festival itself. For such people, CREDAI is planning to organise property shows across both Telugu states as well as other parts of the country. Accordingly, CREDAI Hyderabad is organising a property show in North Hyderabad on November 5 and 6. CREDAI Rajamahendravaram Chairman Suravarapu Srinivas Kumar said that they are organising a property show at CV Subbalakshmi Convention Centre in Rajahmundry on November 6. Around 90 stalls will be set up in this three-day exhibition where banks, construction materials suppliers and construction companies will participate, He expressed the hope that the property show will get a huge response as no property show was held after 2019 in the city due to Covid.

Similarly, CREDAI Warangal is organising the second edition of the property show on October 15 and 16. Around 98 stalls have been installed in this show which was held at Vishnupriya Gardens on Hunter Road, Hanmakonda. The two-day exhibition is expected to attract more than 1,000 visitors. From October 13 to 16, CREDAI is organising a real estate fair at MCHI Bandra Kurla Complex in MMRDA Grounds. Around 100 developers are expected to participate in this event, which is expected to attract around one lakh buyers. Around 50,000 units in about 500 projects will be displayed in this four-day property show.

North Hyderabad on the rise?

North Hyderabad will be benefited a lot due to Telangana GRID policy. The government is setting up the biggest IT tower at Kandlakoya to compete with West Hyderabad. At least 50,000 people are expected to get employment in this facility which will accommodate around 100 companies in the first phase. Further, the North Hyderabad is also a hub for pharma and life sciences sector due to presence of Genome Valley. Further, the region is located in the northern corridor with world-class facilities as a biomedical and R&D cluster. More than 200 companies are conducting scientific research in the Genome Valley, with over 15,000 people already employed in these companies including NOvartis, GlaxoSmithKline and Ferrings etc.

The northern corridor will benefit from the Hyderabad-Nagpur Industrial Corridor (HNIC). Rapid infrastructure and industry growth is also possible. The demand for housing will increase as this development helps create job opportunities. Hence, we are organising the property show in North Hyderabad. This will enable the people living in this part of the city to buy houses in their vicinity. – V Rajasekhar Reddy, General Secretary, CREDAI Hyderabad.
