Telangana received Rs 3.3 lakh Crores investments

Municipal Administration Minister KT Rama RAo said since Telangana State was formed in 2014, investments worth around Rs 3.30 lakh crore were made in the State and also a staggering 22.5 lakh jobs have been created. He explained that factors like the revolutionary policies of the State government, industrial parks, transparent governance, TS-iPASS and the vision of Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao have helped the State attract investments.

“Telangana, which is on the road to success, has attracted investments worth Rs 3.3 lakh crore in the IT and industrial sector through TS-iPASS since 2014. If real estate, hospitality, mining, logistics and other sectors are also taken into consideration, the total investment and employment will be even higher,” he said. He said the State government has identified 14 key sectors and appointed a director for sectoral growth. He added that Hyderabad has surpassed the top cities in providing employment opportunities.
