Revenue officials have confirmed that Dream Valley Resorts is illegally building villas in the GO 111 area. A letter has been written to the District Collector to this effect. We reported that the Panchayat Secretary has written a letter to the HMDA to send the necessary personnel and machinery to demolish the villas. This matter went to Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy. However, neither the HMDA nor the revenue authorities have taken any action against the illegal villas till now. It is reported that Kancharla Santhosh Reddy, the MD of this company, went to the Congress ministers of the Telangana government and has entered into some negotiations.
There are reports that Dream Valley Resorts MD has offered villas or open plots in Vooty Golf County in Vikarabad. Hence, it is reported that those ministers have put pressure on HMDA and revenue officials to not take any action against these villas. Even though the revenue staff has concluded that the villas are being built illegally, people are criticising this behaviour of the Congress ministers as they are moving in the footsteps of the previous government. They now believe that electing the Congress government served no purpose. Even now, environmentalists and people want to demolish the illegal villas in Bakaram in the GO 111 area. All in all, this Dream Valley affair is discrediting Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy. However, people are still hoping that CM Revanth Reddy will demolish the illegal villas by Dream Valley.
