Bakaram Gram Panchayat Secretary clarified to the District Collector of Rangareddy that Dream Valley has illegally constructed villas in Bakaram in Moinabad Mandal. In his recent report to the collector, many interesting things have been revealed regarding Dream Valley.
According to the report, on the date of his assumption of duty on January 30, 2024, the construction work on Dream Villa has reached its final stage. However, the then panchayat secretary has sent notices to Dream Valley already. According to the latest orders given by the HMDA Commissioner, the Dream Valley Resort area has been fully inspected. However, the construction of eleven villas has already been completed, and two are under construction. Upon learning about the issue, on February 23, notices were sent to K. Akash Reddy, Narender Gowri, Ashu Gowri, Heena Mendiretta, Meda Ramana, and Nalamada Aparna. However, they replied that they had applied for building permission under Section 114 of the Telangana Panchayat Raj Act on November 30, 2022. Asked if the permission was granted or not, they replied that they had not received any information on the subject; therefore, they had taken up the construction, considering it as deemed approval. The then Panchayat Secretary has also attached a related letter on December 3, 2022, stating that Bakaram will come under GO 111.
opined that if construction activities are undertaken in the catchment area, the environment will be disturbed. It was brought to the collector’s attention as construction is being undertaken despite sending notices to the concerned landlords. However, they do not have the enforcement team or the machinery to demolish them. The same was explained to Shankarpally, the HMDA Planning Officer, and he asked them to take further action. Keeping this reality in mind, the Bakaram Panchayat Secretary asked the Rangareddy District Collector to request that HMDA send an appropriate enforcement team to demolish the structures being constructed illegally by Dream Valley.
Just like the previous BRS rule, will the Rangareddy District Collector leave without taking any action this time too? Will HMDA stop sending enforcement teams? This will be made clear soon. It is known that Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy is against the cancellation of GO 111. During the elections, he said that environmental protection was his first duty. That is why the locals are appealing to the government to demolish the illegal villas being constructed by Dream Valley.
