Leading property consultant JLL revealed that institutional investments in the Indian real estate sector have increased slightly to $2.94 billion (about Rs 24,110 crores) in the January-June period of 2023. This is a slight increase from the same period last year when investments totalled $2.88 billion. Despite the negative global economic situation, institutional investors are still showing confidence in the Indian real estate market. The property sectors got institutional investments worth $2.94 billion through 22 transactions. The institutional investments in the Indian real estate sector are expected to reach $5 billion by the end of 2023.
