The Telugu actress Siddhi finds it so cool growing up in the house where she was raised. She says it’s always like going back to your elementary school when you are adulting! Her television set is still placed in a same place, she can get whatever she wants from our parents and she describes her home to be the place where she will never receive a no for an answer. In this week’s dream home segment with Siddhi Idnani, watching those white pristine walls keeping her home so natural, she reveals, “Even after becoming a famous actress, I still want to feel simple and chic.
I am already an actress who is living in a suitcase, so when I come back to my home I want nothing but serenity. My life is already very hectic! I think differently so I want my home to always remind me of my humble beginnings. I am thinking sleek.” Further in her life, she is adamant on developing a dream home in the form of a flat, “I am very keen on buying a flat in Chennai. Better location promises appreciation on property investment. Most of the time I am shooting in Chennai to Chennai has become my home now. Nowadays, developers are offering mixed residential projects, where the amenities are accessible to all owners at a small additional cost. To have the best of both the worlds, such plotted options are a great choice.
I don’t want to fall in trouble for this but I am really attracted towards the south of India more.” What more, “So whenever I am not shooting there is a balcony in my current home where there are parrots and my mum feeds them on a very regular basis and the sight of it makes me feel relax after my shoot. And she is a proper plant lover kind of a mom so she has done everything around greenery. There something unique that she is done for us is a wall that she is built on the theme of Buddhism which gives us immense tranquility in the house.” Siddhi have her sources running, “The director Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s home is said to be as grand as his film sets. His office has huge posters of his films. His office resembles his film sets. Having said that, if I have taken the example of Mr Sanjay Leela Bhansali and definitely not thinking of incorporating subtlety in my dream home. I would want to have that opulence and grandeur.”
