The largest public sector bank in the country, the State Bank of India (SBI) has announced grand festival bonanza on home loans, top-up loans and loans against property. It is offering 0.25% concession on home loans, 0.15 % rebate on top-up loans and 0.30 % discount on loans against property. It waived the processing fees on home loans till January 31, 2023.
SBI chairman Dinesh Khara said that the SBI strives to fulfill the dream of every Indian to own a house since the bank is the top rated in home finance division. He thanked 2.8 million customers of home loan for choosing the SBI as their bank. He said that the SBI home loan division reached six trillion assets-mark. The rate of interest on takeover loans begins at 8.4%. The interest on top up loans for home furnishing, rebuilding, and home makeover has been pegged at 8.8%, according to SBI retail banking operations MD Alok Kumar Chaudhary.
