The Telangana Chief Minister’s visit to Davos was a success. Telangana has set a new record with investment deals of Rs. 40,232 crore. It can be said that this is twice the amount of investment achieved by Telangana State in Davos last year.
Adani Group, JSW, Web Works, Tata Technologies, BL Agro, Surgical Instruments Group Holdings, GODI Energy, Aragen Life Sciences, Innovera Pharmaceuticals, Q Centrio, Systra, Uber, o9 Solutions, and others have expressed their willingness to invest in Telangana. Chief Minister Revanth Reddy spoke at various forums in Davos. He called upon global companies to stand by small and marginal farmers. He asked to cooperate in the process of making agriculture profitable.
Speaking at another conference, he expressed that he wanted to combine healthcare with software to make Hyderabad the capital of Asia’s medical tourism. He said that the countries of America and Europe are working to reduce the costs of expensive healthcare services. The CM said that digital technology should be used to make healthcare services accessible to all and to reach advanced medical services to the people of every remote area.
All the Indian industrialists and global business leaders who met the Chief Minister expressed full support for the business and friendship approach adopted by the new government in Telangana. CM Revanth Reddy said that he is happy to come to Davos and meet businessmen from all over the world. “To provide welfare along with development, investment and growth must come together. We will continue our efforts to attract investments to Telangana. All industrialists should come to Hyderabad,” he stated.
