Maharashtra RERA plans to grade projects so that buyers can make an informed decision whether to buy a house in a project or not. All projects registered from January 2023 in Maharashtra will be graded next month. Maha RERA officials said that most of the projects that will be graded will be in Mumbai, followed by projects in Pune and Nagpur. This grading process is done based on four criteria.
Based on the information uploaded by the developers on the RERA site, this rating is given based on four aspects, namely technical, financial, legal, and project overview. Buyers can make a decision based on this grading. Meanwhile, more than 44,000 projects have been registered since May 2017, when the RERA Act came into force in Maharashtra, while 14,000 projects have been completed.
