Realty is losing sheen

REG News, Hyderabad: Before Covid, the real estate offices were bustling in Hyderabad, with buyers and agents. Even though the government has announced that the second wave has concluded, the construction companies are yet regain past glory. The staff numbers also declined. It is understandable how badly the construction Industry, has suffered due to Covid and Knight Frank survey has revealed the Same recently.

Just like India, the United States and Brazil are recording huge number of Covid cases and deaths too were high. However, as the impact of the Covid epidemic has waned, the economy began to recover in these countries. Along with house prices, sales have also increased. The top 10 best economies in the world have grown at rate of 2 per cent per annum, compared to 4.7 per cent annually in other countries. But, the situation with India appears to be different as it had recorded negative growth of 0.5 per cent.

According to this table, realty prices in Turkey have risen 29.2 percent year-on-year, 18.6 per cent in the US and 10.9 per cent in Germany. But, in India, the realty prices registered minus 0.5 per cent. Hyderabad also fell to minus 0.3 per cent in the last quarter.
