For enhanced last-mile connectivity in Hyderabad, HUMTA is exploring a Personal Rapid Transit System (PRTS) connecting Raidurg Metro Station to key areas like Mindspace and Inorbit Mall, with a feasibility study underway. To mitigate congestion, elevated corridors are under development, including an 18.12 km stretch from Paradise Junction to ORR near Shamirpet (Rs.3,619 crore) and a 5.32 km corridor from Paradise Junction to Dairy Farm Road (Rs.1,487 crore). Land acquisition, including defence lands and necessary permissions, is in the final stages.
