- Mangalore city municipal corporation takes decision
Mangalore City Municipal Corporation has decided to receive the self-assessed property tax from residents of the city through post offices and Mangalore One Centres, according to Mangalore City Commissioner Akshay Sridhar. Therefore, the residents of the city can remit their property tax in post offices. Since November last year, the corporation has introduced the system of paying the property tax online. The people are allowed to pay taxes through net banking facility, UPI, debit or through credit cards to enable them to pay taxes online, he added.
