Luxury and style go hand-in-hand with this American actor Akshay Oberoi who is now receiving critical acclaimed for his work in Indian web-shows too. He devoted years to save up so that he can build his dream home. But what’s his call for a home he prefers? When in conversation with the guy from Morristown, he exclaims, “My first home was in Goregaon — it was an investment. And now, recently I purchased a new home in Kalanagar and it’s going to be done by next year. That’s my dream home. I am more fascinated towards this aspect, because I like to keep track of real-estate everyday. Just like evaluating a property, one of the keys to understanding the market is knowing their numbers.”
The Times most Desirable Man stated, “Nude colors are the perfect addition to my decor. We don’t want the paints to overpower and will go well with most other colors also that we may have chosen for our furniture. Fashioning a space that you actually want to relax in involves more than selecting comfy furniture! I really wants to choose the right hues because that’s what sets our mood. Don’t want a sacrificing or gaudy style. The warm and calming color effect also gives you other benefits.” And, talking about the space, he says, “An open space exceptional for me.
It has direct connection to my mental existence! That space will thrive conversations, comfort, and peace for me. A similar flat in Mumbai and New York will do for me. A good deal on an apartment there can mean a lot to me! Or, maybe a town-house in Amsterdam? The homes by the canal attracted me! Even an European city will do — I am enamored by French decor that way. I have even bought a land in the famous Karjat area, will built something there too.”
Telling us in detail about the absolute dream home, he tells, “With more people than ever looking for ways to bring a piece of the world into their homes, there’s an endless number of cities and countries that can serve as my #homegoals, like a home overlooking the sea. Rare are these views and it will be as private as I can keep it. And whenever I am not shooting, like to spend time outdoors. You’ll also find me in my living room drinking coffee and playing board games. That’s the extra cosy place for me. So, my upcoming home is going to be my forever home.”
