Now QR code must be entered all project announcements

Thiruvananthapuram: The Kerala Real Estate Regulatory Authority (K-RERA) has made it mandatory to include a quick-response (QR) code in all real estate advertisements, effective September 1, so that consumers can quickly access details about developments that are for sale. The RERA registration number, address, and QR code must be included in the advertisements. QR codes have been made mandatory in print media, electronic media, brochures, and hoardings, including project sites, social media, developer websites, their offices, etc. The promoters are advised to download the QR code for their project from the RERA dashboard. Buyers will be able to view the details of the projects included on the Kerala RERA website by scanning this QR code including the registration number of the respective project, financial progress, construction progress, including public facilities, quarterly progress report, approved plans, and the latest pictures of the project. Kerala-Rera Chairman PH said that they are introducing this QR code to bring transparency to the real estate sector.
