Maintenance has not increased by even one rupee in 4 years!
SMR Vinay City in Miyapur, Hyderabad, has created a new history in the management of gated communities. In the last four years, it has managed the community effectively without increasing the maintenance even by a rupee, while also increasing the salaries of the staff by ten percent every year. On the other hand, it has also taken up the development work at the same level. In the last four years, more than seventy CCTVs have been installed, increasing the security of the residents. It successfully organised festivals and various cultural programmes for about 80 days every year.
Instead of totally relying on the monthly maintenance fee that residents pay every month, it has significantly increased other sources of income. In 2020, block-wise special WhatsApp groups were set up to solve the problems faced by the residents at the earliest. All in all, it stands as the best example for other gated communities on how to function effectively. On this occasion, SMR Vinay City General Secretary Gorantla Prasad said that all this was possible only with the suggestions of residents and the cooperation of the committee members. He said that they will take appropriate actions to develop their community further in the coming days.
