- Landlords explain to the media
- In a press conference held recently
Indian well known real estate company My Home and Reddy Labs have been accused of encroachment. In Madinaguda of Rangareddy district, the victims came forward to the media claiming that the land belonging to private individuals was taken over with false documents and the constructions were taken up. In this matter, the authorities are giving an opinion to MyHome and Reddy Labs, even though there is evidence to prove that the land belongs to them legally, it is outrageous for the authorities to hand it over to them. On behalf of the victims, retired Revenue Joint Collector Ramgopal Rao held a press conference at the Somajiguda Press Club recently and disclosed the details.
Ramgopal Rao stated that late Tandra Muttaiah owns seven acres of 30 pits of land in Survey No. 98 of Madinaguda, Rangareddy District, and all rights over it belong to Muttaiah’s heirs. However, it is alleged that Home and Reddy Labs jointly occupied this land with false documents. It is said that in 2021, the land was taken over and the construction of a building named My Home Raka was also started there. Even though the Tahsildar, Joint Collector and finally the High Court said that the land belonged to Muttaiah’s heirs, the authorities did not care at all. It was explained that MyHome and Reddy Labs grabbed the land atrociously.
As a result, the heirs of Tandra Muttaiah approached the High Court. It was explained that the court ordered the GHMC to cancel the permission of the building. In this regard, Tandra Muttaiah said that threats are being received by encroachers. Ramgopal Rao requested the government to protect the victims from the encroachers and take appropriate measures in this regard as they are threatening the victims if they fight for their land.
Dont buy in My Home Raka
Former Joint Collector Ramgopal Rao said in a press release that on April 28, all the permissions given to the construction of My Home Raka, undertaken by My Home organization in Madinaguda, were cancelled. No one has been requested to buy from the structures that are being built on the illegally acquired land. They explained that they have also given a public notice in this regard. The women of the affected families, Balamani, Vijayalakshmi, Sharada and Amrita Bai, demanded that the government should hand over the land to themselves.
