Even though OOSARAVELLI fame ADHVIK MAHAJAN has aged up — he’s still so attached with his childhood residence. Calls it his best period of the lifetime! Those days spent in his ancestral home were the golden days of his life and though it flew away, he’s still consious of the memories. “So as soon as we started this segment — very instantly like some time-machine I went back to JALANDHAR in my subconscious. There used to be a cot, I remember! And, just at overhead there was a tree of grapes planted in my verandah. So whenever I used to come back from school my only purpose used to just grab those grapes and with all my clamour, that home was always enlivened. Another fondest memory from that home was my pet PETER, always following and cuddling me. After this home, we never had the pleasure of living in a joint family.”
After propelling with so much of fame from television — did this actor’s aesthetic sensibilities changed? Well, ADHVIK who has dropped a huge announcement about all set to shine with his comeback in Telugu says, “With years, my experience in investing when it comes to properties have expanded ten folds. Back in my hometown itself we changed three bungalows. Just last year I have designed a whole house for my parents on my own! For approximate eight months, I took a hiatus from television and got so involved in doing the interiors of that house with my father. Choosing the kind of gravestone, doing the wiring for the house, getting involved with plaster of paris, choosing furniture, the type of glass — have designed it all by myself. Most of the preferable tastes were coming from DELHI. Even in mumbai, it’s been almost fourteen years and we shifted seven homes but let me elaborate to you on the commencement of this interior sensibilities I am getting from.”
Elaborating on the above mentioned note, the ASHOK TEJA’s new find quips, “Again, takes me back to my childhood. My father has instructed us that Sundays are meant to be for cleaning and repairing or decorating the house, perhaps renovating it so that it’s given a new look with a fresh tide. It was a very petty instruction given to us but I gave my heart and soul to it! Soon, I started servicing our scooter at our home itself without the help of a mechanic. Then polishing my father’s car. All of this developed a certain kind of patience in me and evoked the feelings of keeping my upcoming homes up to date.”
Recalling another very vivid memory where the actor had to adjust a lot coming from a full-blown bungalow to a one bedroom flat, he was exasperated — “Once upon a time, I was living with four boys. I was sleeping on the mattress! All of them were corporate going boys and I was struggling to become an actor. As lifestyle enlarged, my homes also swelled well. My latest home is all about whites! It’s a textural delight to be amongst the colors my wife and I chose. We think we have done it right and it’s warm, inviting and so attractive. Our tastes matches really well, we hardly had any conflicts over choosing interiors for our new home. Personally, I prefer pinks.”
Hypothetically, “I would love to build my dream home either in LONDON or DUBAI because I have a growing streak of entrepreneurship going on with me these days that I would love to dilate it in one of these countries. LONDON seems to be like the world capital for start-ups, commerce and fashion. That’s my upcoming plan! But my wife NEHA really admires ARJUN BIJLANI’s house — it’s european style white themed. The entrance is dome shaped! And flooring is marble, temple in the middle of the house. My wife liked all of it when she visited them recently.”
