- Registers 5% growth in the Hyderabad market
- Prices of units register 11% growth
The sale of housing units in the Hyderabad market is proceeding on a positive note.
During the third quarter of the current year, from July to September, as many as 8,325 housing units were sold in the city, which is 5% more than the units sold during the corresponding period last year, which were 7,900 units.
Also, the prices of housing units, compared to those of last year, have registered 11% growth.
Across eight major cities in the country, during the period, housing unit sales registered 12% growth. In all, as many as 82,612 units were sold during the three-month period, as compared to 73,691 units sold during the same period last year.
In Delhi, as many as 13,981 units were sold (27% growth). Mumbai city registered the sale of 22,308 units, registering 4% growth. In Bengaluru, 13,619 units were sold (4% growth).
The city of Pune registered 20% growth by selling 13,079 units. The Chennai market saw the sale of 3,870 units, registering a 5% growth. In Kolkata, 3,772 units were sold. In Ahmedabad, the sales registered a 6% growth by selling 4,108 units.
The prices also registered an increase of 11% in Hyderabad, which is the maximum, followed by Kolkata (7%), Bengaluru and Mumbai (6% each), Pune (5%), Ahmedabad and Delhi (4% each), and Chennai (3%).
Similarly, the inventory of houses during the period has increased significantly across the eight cities, according to the report.
