Hyderabad, which is developing on an international scale, is set to see the Regional Ring Road (RRR) become a major game-changer. According to real estate sources, the Triple R project is expected to play a transformative role in the development of Telangana. The green expressway, which will span 347 kilometres with four lanes, is set to be constructed in two phases. The land acquisition for the project has already started, and the Telangana government is preparing to invite tenders for construction.
While the city already has an Outer Ring Road (ORR), the construction of the Regional Ring Road will be located outside this existing belt. The 347-kilometer RRR will connect several districts of Telangana and will serve as a major transportation route outside the ORR. The Telangana government believes that the Regional Ring Road will be a super game-changer and will transform the state’s landscape. The state aims to complete the construction of the RRR within the next three years. As part of this project, a huge junction will be constructed near Choutuppal, which is expected to lead to significant growth in the real estate sector in that area.
In this prestigious project, 12 interchanges will be constructed. These interchanges will connect with national and state highways, creating large junctions at key locations. Authorities believe that the areas around these international-standard interchanges will witness significant real estate growth. One notable interchange will be located near Mundapuram and Penumattivanipura along the Vijayawada National Highway. The interchange near Choutuppal, which will connect to National Highway 65, will be surrounded by major infrastructure developments, say officials.
Already, areas from Hayathnagar to Peddamberpet are seeing development, and with the upcoming Regional Ring Road and the massive junction near Choutuppal, this region is expected to experience rapid growth in the coming years.
