IT giant Infosys inaugurated its Software Development Centre in Visakhapatnam, AP. Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy formally inaugurated this center. This IT centre provides jobs for 1,000 people. After inaugurating the Infosys Centre, Jagan addressed the employees and company representatives.
He said Vizag has all the qualifications to become a Tier-1 city in AP, along with Hyderabad, Bengaluru, and Chennai. He expressed hope that Visakhapatnam will soon become a Tier-1 city. Although it was announced earlier that after Dasara, the governance would be done from Visakhapatnam, Jagan announced that it has been postponed due to the non-availability of offices and other problems. He said that from December this year, the governance will be done from Vizag. All work in this regard is going on at a fast pace.
