Home prices in Hyderabad have seen a slight increase, with an average rise of 7% recorded in the September quarter. This information was revealed by the property consultancy firm PropTiger. Compared to the same quarter last year, home prices have increased between 7% and 57% across eight major cities in the country in the September quarter of 2024.

Hyderabad experienced the lowest increase at 7%. The average price per square foot in the Hyderabad market rose to Rs 7,050, compared to Rs 6,580 in the same quarter last year. In Delhi, prices surged the most, increasing by 57% to reach Rs 8,017 per square foot. The report stated that the increase in demand is the primary reason for the rise in prices.

Looking at city-wise data, in Bengaluru, home prices rose by 15% in the September quarter compared to the same period last year, reaching Rs 7,512 per square foot. In Chennai, prices increased by 22%, with the price per square foot reaching Rs 7,179. In Kolkata, home prices rose to Rs 5,844 per square foot, which is 22% higher compared to the same period last year.

In Mumbai, prices increased by 21%, recording a price of Rs 12,590 per square foot. Pune saw an 18% increase, with prices reaching Rs 6,953 per square foot. In Ahmedabad, prices rose by 21%, with the price per square foot recorded at Rs 4,736. Real estate experts indicate that the steady increase in home prices reflects the strength and growth opportunities in the country’s real estate market.
