Demolition of illegal constructions at two locations
Hyderabad Disaster Response and Asset Protection and Monitoring Agency (HYDRA) has taken action against illegal constructions in Shamshabad. After reviewing complaints, they demolished illegal constructions at two locations. In the Southern Paradise (Sri Sampath Nagar) area, a park spanning 998 square feet had been encroached upon by several private parties, leading to the intervention of HYDRA officials. Upon inspection of the park, they confirmed the encroachments and removed the fencing and sheds constructed around the park.
In another case, a complaint was received regarding the encroachment of a 33-foot road in Captain Town-2 Colony in Oothpally village. HYDRA officials investigated this as well and confirmed the encroachments, which were then demolished.
HYDRA Commissioner A.V. Ranganath stated that these demolitions were part of a drive initiated by local authorities. He warned that strict actions would be taken if any illegal constructions are carried out in the future.
