House prices soar in Delhi

  • Significant increase in average prices since 2019
  • Prop Equity report reveals

The real estate market in Delhi is booming. Property prices have surged in the NCR region, including Gurgaon, Noida, Greater Noida, and Ghaziabad. According to real estate data analysis firm Prop Equity, house prices in new projects in these areas have doubled on average over the last five years. Between 2019 and September 2024, the price per square foot in Noida saw the highest increase, rising by 152%, from Rs 5,910 to Rs 14,946. In Ghaziabad, prices rose by 139%, from Rs 3,691 to Rs 8,823. In Gurgaon, the price per square foot reached Rs 19,535, while in Greater Noida, it increased by 121%, reaching Rs 8,601 (compared to Rs 3,900 in 2019).

“Delhi NCR is witnessing unprecedented development. The Noida International Airport, Dwarka Expressway, Delhi-Meerut Expressway, Rapid Rail, and metro expansion are all contributing to real estate growth,” said Sameer Jasuja, Founder and CEO of Prop Equity.
