Hyderabad Faces Office Space Shortage
25% Drop in Supply in September Quarter, Report by Western
Hyderabad is experiencing a shortage of office space due to a 25% drop in new supply in the September quarter, down to 4.10 million sq. ft. Gross leasing also fell 25%, totaling 2.79 million sq. ft.
Across seven major Indian cities, new office space supply decreased by 4%, while leasing of prime workspaces rose by 17%. Bengaluru saw a 33% increase in supply and an 84% rise in leasing. Delhi NCR’s supply surged by 360%, and Pune’s leasing grew by 112%. Mumbai and Chennai saw mixed results, with Mumbai’s supply at 0.90 million sq. ft. and Chennai’s dropping by 58%.
