Has Balakrishna’s case been moved to the ED?

Has the embezzlement case of the former HMDA director been transferred to the ED? Already, many interesting things have come to light in the ACB investigation. It has been learned that Balakrishna’s case has been transferred to ED due to reasons such as the cross-granting of permissions as per the instructions of higher-level officials and the return of crores of rupees from realtors.

It is reported that Balakrishna was in full swing in granting permissions because Arvind Kumar was the special chief secretary and the commissioner of HMDA. He cleared many files of builders, realtors, infra owners, and owners of land ventures under the double roll and double cash methods in HMDA. Since he is also the director of HMDA, ultimately he is the one who grants permission. On the other hand, Arvind Kumar was the commissioner of HMDA and special chief secretary, which means they got their files cleared by the government easily. The duo, together, got approvals for many projects. Similarly, when MG Gopal was the Special Chief Secretary of Municipal Administration, Chiranjeevi was the Commissioner of HMDA. At that time, MG Gopal was very strict about the rules. Later, special chief secretary and commissioner of HMDA Arvind Kumar and Balakrishna got along better and committed these offences, it was heard.

KTR vs. Balakrishna…

Former minister KTR did not like Balakrishna’s continuation in the municipal department. There have been occasions when he expressed his anger at Balakrishna’s behaviour. However, since there were no more intelligent officials than him in the municipal administration department, Balakrishna could continue his actions like a free bird. The builders of Hyderabad were not afraid of KTR but of Balakrishna. It is because of his active role in giving permissions that he was given high priority.
