Suggests SMR Holdings MD Ram Reddy
Regarding the development of Hyderabad, SMR Holdings MD S. Ram Reddy suggested that the new government should first focus on the outer growth corridor. He spoke exclusively with the Real Estate Guru on various topics related to the real estate sector. Excerpts from the interview:
We believe the new CM Revanth Reddy, has a plan to further advance the development of the real estate sector in the state in the last 25 and 30 years. We hope that the real estate sector will gain more momentum under this government. YS Rajasekhar Reddy continued the activities started by Chandrababu. Later, Kiran Kumar Reddy did the same. After the formation of Telangana, K. Chandrasekhar Rao continued to do the same. Now we expect Revanth to continue his prior activities. The new government should take the Outer Growth Corridor as its first priority and develop grid roads and other infrastructure there. There is scope for more development at a lower cost. Therefore, these works should be undertaken with first priority. Followed by this is organising the master plans, which seem to be messy. All of them should be compiled, and a unified master plan should be prepared. This needs to be done on a war footing. In doing so, the city develops systematically.
The previous government lifted GO 111. CM Revanth should focus on how to develop a new master plan for that area. If developed without disturbing the ponds and ecosystem there, Hyderabad will reach international level. Hyderabad will join the top five cities in the world. At the same time, Hyderabad development is happening only in the west and south so far. Therefore, if development is also done in the north and east, traffic in the city will also decrease. Then the city will develop in all directions.
