AMGEN Research Centre

The largest biotechnology company in the U.S., AMGEN, will expand its operations in Telangana. The company has announced plans to start a new research and development division in Hyderabad. This centre will be located in a six-story building in Hi-Tech City and is expected to create jobs for nearly 3,000 people. The company plans to begin its operations by the end of this year. It is a matter of pride that a globally renowned biotech firm has chosen Hyderabad as its development hub. This move will further solidify Hyderabad’s importance in the biotechnology sector. Chief Minister Revanth Reddy recently met with Shantanu Narayen, the CEO of the renowned Adobe Systems. During the meeting, Shantanu Narayen expressed interest in the Telangana government’s plans for the Hyderabad 4.0 Future City development, the Young India Skills University, and the establishment of an Artificial Intelligence City. He agreed to collaborate on the projects undertaken in the state.

 

 

Charles Schwab

The globally renowned financial services company Charles Schwab has announced plans to establish a Technology Development Centre in Hyderabad. This will be the company’s first centre in India. Chief Minister Revanth Reddy assured that the state government will provide the necessary support for setting up the centre in Hyderabad and will offer guidance to expedite the company’s operations. The company representatives expressed gratitude for the support announced by the state government for their expansion. Charles Schwab is currently awaiting final approvals for the Technology Centre and will soon send a team of representatives to Hyderabad.

World Bank!

The World Bank has expressed its readiness to collaborate on Telangana’s future development plans. Chief Minister Revanth Reddy had a special meeting with World Bank President Ajay Banga. During this meeting, they decided to jointly develop a road map for various projects in the state. Discussions were held on partnership opportunities in key areas including skill development, riverfront projects, net-zero city initiatives, healthcare, diagnostics, and health profiling. The meeting involved nearly an hour of discussions on these topics.

Vivint Pharma expansion

The globally renowned Vivint Pharma has announced plans to establish a state-of-the-art injectable manufacturing facility in Genome Valley, Hyderabad. The company is set to invest Rs 400 crore in this venture, which will create jobs for approximately 1,000 people. The fact that this company is preparing to invest in Telangana, which is already emerging as a global hub for life sciences, is attracting considerable attention.

Corning Inc boost to pharma, chemical sectors

The globally renowned Corning Inc. has committed to advancing new innovations in Telangana. The company has signed a memorandum of understanding with the state government to develop technological innovations in industries alongside skill development. According to this agreement, Corning will provide mutual support to the Telangana government in the fields of advanced manufacturing and chemical engineering. Arcesium

The renowned technology and service solutions company, Arcesium, will expand its operations in Telangana. As part of this, Arcesium has signed an agreement with the Telangana government. This will mark the first time the company is expanding its office in Hyderabad, making it their first international expansion outside of the United States. Company representatives stated that the Hyderabad centre will be crucial for their global service expansion. Over the next two years, Arcesium plans to hire 500 advanced technology specialists in Hyderabad. Founded as an independent entity with support from the DE Shaw Group and Blackstone Alternative Asset Management, Arcesium provides analytics on data and operations related to banks, hedge funds, institutional asset managers, and private equity firms.

Trizent’s AI Innovation Centre

Trizent Technologies will establish its Artificial Intelligence Centre in Hyderabad. The company provides intelligence solutions for data analytics and artificial intelligence startups. Over the next three years, it plans to hire and train more than 1,000 employees. The company’s total revenue exceeds $160 million. Of the 2,500 employees worldwide, 1,000 are in India, with 100 currently in Hyderabad. The company has announced that it will commence its operations within the next six months.

Walsh Kera Holdings’ investment

Walsh Kera Holdings from the United States is preparing to invest in Telangana. The company has signed an agreement to invest Rs 42 crore ($5 million) in V-Hub. Over the next five years, Walsh Kera plans to invest approximately Rs 839 crore ($100 million) in startups being established in Telangana, including those at We-Hub. Fani Kera and Greg Walsh from Walsh Kera, along with We-Hub CEO Sita Pallacholla, have signed the agreement. The Telangana government established We-Hub as a unique initiative in the country to encourage women entrepreneurs.

Cognizant’s new centre in Hyd

The globally renowned IT company Cognizant has announced a major expansion plan in Telangana. The company plans to establish a new centre in Hyderabad that will create jobs for nearly 15,000 people. This centre will be set up on a 1 million square foot site, with a capacity to accommodate up to 20,000 employees.
