GHMC has announced an early bird offer for property tax payers under its jurisdiction, with a five per cent rebate on payment of property tax for the current financial year by April 30. GHMC Commissioner Lokesh Kumar made an announcement to this effect. However, it was clarified that the scheme is applicable only to the tax relating to the current financial year and not to the arrears pertaining to previous years.
GHMC sources said that information regarding the discount has already been sent to the property owners through the web link on their mobile phones. They can avail the offer through this web link or by going to the nearest GHMC Citizen Service Center to pay the property tax.
