The owner of Hyderabad-based Lahari Resorts, G. Haribabu, was elected president of the National Real Estate Development Council (NAREDCO).
In a statement on Friday, the NAREDCO said that Niranjan Hiranandani was elected chairman and Rajan Bandelkar was elected vice chairman.
Haribabu, who gained over four decades of experience, was APREDA president for four years. After the APREDA became the NAREDCO, he served as its president for another four years.
Under his regime, 12 chapters of NAREDCO have been set up in AP. The body has a membership of over 1200 builders.
He said that the real estate sector is developing in an unprecedented manner in the country. Therefore, the role of NAREDCO would be very active. It would pave the way for comprehensive growth and focus on innovation, transparency, and so on.
