First Sky Deck project announced without RERA?

These days, some developers have become blatant to such an extent that they are not ready to heed to Minister KT Rama Rao’s suggestions. Participating in a recent CREDAI Property Show, he advised builders not to be greedy and take up prelaunch projects. But less than two weeks later, a company announced a prelaunch project. The company is very cleverly providing details of their project and publicising through social media, asking people to book the flat now and pay after the RERA approval is given.

Some builders were shocked to see this announcement. Despite the Telangana RERA Authority saying that no project should be advertised anywhere without obtaining all approvals, some companies are turning a deaf ear. Will RERA act against such companies or will it turn a blind eye? We have to wait and watch for some more time.

The first Sky Deck Apartment project in Hyderabad is coming up at Raidurg. This news is so impressive to hear. Unless there is something special, the buyers would not come forward to purchase a flat in a project and the company appears to have understood this to come up with such an innovative feature. In all, this project will have three towers with 45 storeys spread over an area of about seven acres. The project elevation and design too are impressive, similar to the Aliens Space Station project in Tellapur. With just four flats designed per floor, such a gorgeous project should have been announced with the permission from the Telangana RERA Authority! Why is it necessary to announce it so hastily?

Developing the Sky Deck of approximately one million square feet on the lines of Western countries, is definitely an innovative idea. The project would have received good positive publicity, if it had been announced after obtaining approvals from the GHMC and RERA authorities. Experts are of the opinion that it was not correct to announce such a good project in such a hurry.
