Elections? So what! You can still invest in realty

  • Elections are common every five years.
  • The development of Hyderabad will not stop.
  • Ready-to-occupy houses are much better!

It is very common to see elections held every five years in a democratic country. No matter who wins or loses, the ultimate beneficiary is Hyderabad, as it is the state’s capital, and the government must develop its capital city. There is no doubt about it. However, each Chief Minister has his or her own working style. They will carry out development work in a different style, and it will take some time for the ruling class to get used to it. However, there is no conflict in terms of development. No matter who comes to power, the current progress will continue as usual.

In Andhra Pradesh, when Nedurumalli Janardhan Reddy was the CM, the IT infrastructure was initiated. After Chandrababu Naidu became the CM, he expanded the IT sector. Later, the YSR government started Shamshabad Airport, the Outer Ring Road, and Metro Rail. Development also took place during the reign of Kiran Kumar Reddy. It is true that development went into top gear after the formation of Telangana State. So, like the last two elections, this time too, the elections should be considered a common occurrence. So, if you like any project at this time, you undoubtedly go ahead with the property. No matter which government comes to power, there is no danger of hindering the development of Hyderabad.

In the context of elections, each person should not carry more than Rs. 50,000. If they are caught with a large amount of cash, the money will be released only after submitting the complete details of the source and purpose of the money. Such issues are causing some buyers to postpone the purchase of a home for some time. Due to this reason, it can be said that there is a possibility that real estate transactions will decline slightly for another 40 days. Builders are using this time wisely by increasing the speed of the construction work.

If BRS wins…

If the BRS government led by Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao comes to power, there will be no limits for the development of Hyderabad. The city will grow faster than expected. All existing projects will continue as usual. Auctions will be held in Kokapet, Budvel, and other areas as well. All the national and international organisations will come to the city one after another. There is no doubt that the face of Hyderabad will change radically after the next elections.

If Congress wins…

There are chances of witnessing the changes that undivided Andhra Pradesh has in Telangana now. The market may adopt a wait-and-see attitude for some time. Development will depend on what kind of policy decisions the new rulers take. Otherwise, the real estate market will take some time to adapt to the change in power. After that, the development of Hyderabad will proceed as usual. If we observe, although the Telangana state was formed in 2014, development gained momentum after 2016. There is a possibility of repeating the same thing again.

Now the rate is lower, moreover, projects are completed too!

In a city with a population of over 50 lakhs, if the water facility is better, the infrastructure is developing, and there is no risk of job security, many people will show enthusiasm to step into that city. If there is a cosmopolitan culture in such a city, no one can stop its development. In such situations, the development of Hyderabad has crossed a crore population. With all the characteristics of a metro city, no one can stop its development.

Everyone knows how the prices of land and construction materials have increased in the last three years. So, the rates are lower for the completed project than for the ventures that are taking off now. Hence, regardless of the elections, it is best to buy these now. Because the construction that started now may take at least three or four years to complete, So, irrespective of the elections, it should be remembered that this is the right time for those who are thinking of buying real estate projects, says Cheruku Ramachandra Reddy, MD, RV Nirmaan.
