Popular actress Deepika Padukone has purchased a flat in the Sagar Resham Cooperative Housing Society in Mumbai. Her company, KA Enterprises, acquired an 1,845 square foot apartment for Rs 17.8 crore, with the transaction registered on the 12th of this month. It is reported that the flat was bought from Enorm Nagpal Realty LLP.
The housing society consists of only 4 and 5 BHK flats, and Deepika’s apartment is located on the 15th floor. The price per square foot for the built-up area was Rs 96,400. For this purchase, Rs 1.07 crore was paid as stamp duty and Rs 30,000 as registration fees.
Additionally, her husband Ranveer Singh’s company, RS Film Craft Private Limited, has leased a nearby apartment from his mother for Rs 8.2 lakh per month, paying a security deposit of Rs 73.8 lakh. The lease agreement is for 55 months, with the first 33 months at Rs 8.2 lakh and the following 22 months at Rs 9.43 lakh.
Ranveer’s mother, Anju Bhavnani, purchased the adjacent apartment earlier this month for Rs 19.13 crore, which spans 1,822.45 square feet. This Bollywood couple has also reportedly bought a quadruplex near Amitabh Bachchan’s Raj Bhavan Mannat at Bandra Bandstand, facing the sea. This flat, spanning 11,266 square feet with a 1,300 square foot terrace, covers four floors from the 16th to the 19th and is valued at over Rs 100 crore. Additionally, they have acquired a bungalow in Alibaug worth Rs 22 crore.
Property prices in Bandra are generally high, with rates ranging from Rs 50,000 to Rs 1.50 lakh per square foot, depending on the area and age of the property. In areas like Carter Road, Bandstand, and Pali Hill, prices can exceed Rs 1 lakh per square foot.
