Indian cricketer KL Rahul has purchased land worth nearly Rs 10 crore. Along with actor Suniel Shetty, his father-in-law, they bought an 8-acre plot of land in the Ovale area of Thane, Mumbai, for Rs 9.85 crore. The registration documents reveal that the two acquired this land as part of a larger parcel of 30 acres, which includes 17 plots. They paid Rs 68.96 lakh as stamp duty and Rs 30,000 as registration charges for the registration, which took place on March 20. Ovale is located along the Ghodbunder Road, one of the key routes connecting Thane to Mumbai.
In July last year, KL Rahul, along with his wife Athiya Shetty, purchased an apartment in the Pali Hill area of Bandra, Mumbai, for Rs 20 crore. This property is located on the second floor of the Sindhu Palace building, which has 18 floors, covering an area of 3,350 square feet. Furthermore, in October last year, Suniel Shetty and his son Ahan Shetty bought a 1,200-square-foot property in Mumbai’s Khar West area for Rs 8.01 crore at a bank auction. This property was also acquired by the father-son duo in the bank auction.
