Obstacles related to the construction of the 182 km national highway, the southern part of the Regional Ring Road, have been cleared. Chautuppal-Amangal-Shadnagar-Sangareddy expansion works are on. Clarification has been made regarding the expenditure related to the removal of utilities (electric poles, buildings, etc.) in the area of Regional Ring Road’s North Part (Chautuppal-Bhuvangiri-Thoopran-Sangareddy-Kandi). Union Minister Nitin Gadkari told Revanth Reddy that they would fully bear the cost of this. The Union Minister told the Chief Minister to speed up the land acquisition and procedural processes related to RRR.
Chief Minister Revanth Reddy asked the Union Minister to widen the national highway from Hyderabad to Vijayawada to six lanes and the road from Hyderabad to Kalvakurti to four lanes. Union Minister Nitin Gadkari responded positively to the appeals of the Chief Minister. The Union Minister instructed Revanth Reddy to send the necessary proposals for the grant of the CRIF (Construction of Rural Infrastructure Fund).
