Bengaluru is leading the office space market. It is estimated that by 2030, the city will reach 330-340 million square feet of office space, making it the highest in India, according to the CBRE. The report, released in collaboration with CII, highlights that technology, engineering manufacturing, and BFSI sectors are at the forefront in office space utilization.
Life sciences, aviation, and automobile industries are also emerging as key areas of growth. Bengaluru has been leading in office space usage for the past few years, with an average of 15 to 16 million square feet of new space becoming available annually. Consequently, it is projected that by 2030, Bengaluru will be the number one city in the country for office space utilisation.
