Wheather the price is 2 crores or 50 crores, affluent celebrities like Ananya Pandey would not mind shelling out a fortune for water front properties. We do not know whether the property prices were at hill stations during her mother’s time but what we have got to know is, “My mother used to live in an apartment in the versova side. It was a two bedroom apartment then. She was living with her parents and there was a balcony that attracted her the most because she could see the whole ocean from there. For her the way she tells us the memories are very hearty because they are three sisters and they used to share one room. The same thing she is trying to imbibe in my sister and I so that we come closer and we have a long living bond until I move out from my father’s home.”
Trying to understand more of liger actresses aspirations towards a dream home we enquired, “My parents are very outdoor people. So are we! My mother is incharge of what’s happening inside the house and she certainly prefers everything to be lighter in tone. I keep questioning her why the lighter tones and she tells me how the house looks even more bigger with it. But what we have done is added colours in our furniture and rugs! It’s actually a rule in my house that the accessories can be coloured but the flooring and the walls should be lighter in colour.” Ascertaining the luxury quotient, knowing about her lifestyle choices and her living aspirations was so cool. She continued, “There are no new changes in the house right now. We we re-did our house somewhat six years ago. To try out colours in our home, and not go wrong and even if we did so that we have some scope to change it—we choose the study room and painted it into green colour and the flooring is made of dark wood. None of us liked it, so that’s definitely going to be changed as soon as possible. That was an experiment by all of us because nobody goes into that room.”
Even with lighter tones Ananya Pandey’s home sense opulents and luxury as the moment you step inside into her house and, “We prefer an apartment but a whole floor to us. It’s my mother’s values that she wants everyone of us to stay together and like the trend is going on these days that the kids are downstairs and the parents upstairs, my mother doesn’t buy that. My mother even keeps telling me that from the time she has moved into my father’s home she is the most secured. And so are the feelings in me too. Like whenever I am not shooting, I go to our in-house terrace that’s covered with glass windows and has a chess flooring just to relax.” And when we asked the fresh face of Tollywood on whose celebrity home the sheep prefer the most and what would she like to encapsulate from it, she announces, “Oh I love Gauri aunty’s house. It’s an iconic structure the moment you see it from outside! But we kids have grown up inside and we have seen it being re-done so many times. It has a terrace garden. And what’s interesting is that the interiors are in Italian style. So the vibe is maximalist and Suhana and I love spending time over there.”
