SBI Property show starting today
India’s largest public sector banking organisation, SBI, is hosting a grand property show in Hyderabad. The SBI Property Show, which started on the 20th of this month, will run until the 22nd. Held at the Hitex Exhibition Centre, the show features real estate projects across more than 50 stalls. SBI’s Chief General Manager for Hyderabad Circle, Rajesh Kumar, mentioned that the bank is leading in providing home loans in the country through this property show. He stated that SBI’s share in home loans in Telangana is 32%, while in Hyderabad city it stands at 21%. He also highlighted that Hyderabad is one of the fastest-growing cities, with the government implementing projects like the Regional Ring Road and the Musi River beautification. These initiatives are contributing to the development of the city in all directions, which in turn is expected to offer significant opportunities for loans in the real estate sector.
This mega property show provides customers with a one-stop solution to fulfill their dream of owning a home. Those who book their homes at the property show can avail discounts on processing fees and interest rates. Rajesh Kumar, Chief General Manager of SBI Hyderabad Circle, mentioned that by November 30, 2024, the home loan business of SBI had crossed the Rs 7.95 lakh crore mark. He also stated that the Hyderabad Circle had disbursed Rs 10,000 crore in home loans during the year. SBI’s builder finance portfolio in the Hyderabad Circle stands at Rs 1,200 crore, with 859 projects approved under the “Builder Tie-Up” scheme so far. He revealed that 120 builder tie-ups were approved across the state in the current financial year. Rajesh Kumar also mentioned that more projects are being considered under the “Builder Tie-Up” scheme to accelerate the home loan process.
