Revealed in Cushman & Wakefield Report
Delhi’s Khan Market has secured the 22nd spot globally among the most expensive retail areas. According to Cushman & Wakefield, the annual rent for one square foot of retail space here is Rs 19,000 (229 USD). Milan’s “Monte Napoleone” tops the list at 2,047 USD, followed by New York’s “Fifth Avenue” at 2,000 USD.
Khan Market is now India’s costliest retail hub, with rents increasing by 7% annually. The report highlights the limited availability of retail space and strong economic growth as key drivers of the retail sector’s growth in India.
