The Hyderabad real estate market recovered magnificently in April if the number of registration of properties carried out in the month was any indication. According to the latest report from the Knight Frank, in all 4398 apartments worth Rs 2,230 crore were registered in April. The statistics reveal that Hyderabad has emerged as a hot destination for property buyers.
Of the total number of properties registered in April, 54 per cent of the properties constituted those in the price range of Rs 25 lakh and Rs 50 lakh. It indicates that right from budget investors to luxury property investors the Hyderabad became preferred destination. Of these properties, 69 per cent of the properties have the plinth area ranging between 1000 sft and 2000 sft.
The residents of the city are looking for upgraded houses that offer them more plinth area. Of the total registered properties, 47 per cent are in Medchal-Malkajgiri district, while 38 per cent of the properties are located in Rangareddy district. In fact, only 14 per cent of the properties are located in Hyderabad. Going by the registration of properties in April, average prices of properties were declined by 0.3%. At the same time, the maximum price rise of 9% was registered in Hyderabad, while the rise n property prices in Medchal-Malkajgiri was put at only 2%.
