Anarock property consultants have predicted that 1.67 lakh units will be executed in 2023 in Delhi-National Capital Region, followed by Mumbai (1,32,000 units) and Hyderabad (25,120 units). According to the Chairman Anuj Puri of the Anarock Property Consultants, the cities of Hyderabad, Chennai, and Bangalore saw development of 81,580 units in 2022. However, he could not specify the exact data city-wise. Generally, at least 25,000 property units are sold annually. The property experts, however, said that the number increased over the past two years. But, nobody would be able to churn out exact statistics as those who bought the flats are not registering them immediately.
If everything goes well, it is predicted that at least 5.44 lakh units would be built in 2023 in seven major cities across the nation, he said. If the economic recession did not affect the real estate sector, the developers would complete their projects and focus on launching new ones.
